Shiatsu Shin Tai and Craniosacral Therapist (MRSS, RCST)

This therapeutic work aims to support people on their journey to better health. My approach is to work with the body’s own self-repair capacity, which is fundamentally empowering for the receiver. Energy-based bodywork has the potential to work at a deep level of our being, on the physical and energetic body, the emotions, the mind and the spirit to bring profound healing and transformation.

I have been practising energy-based bodywork for seventeen years. I trained with the British School of Shiatsu-Do London for three years, graduating in 2003. I have since continued regular post-graduate training to continue developing my clinical skills.  I have trained in Shiatsu Shin Tai, developed by Saul Goodman over the last 30 years, which is a modern evolution of traditional shiatsu incorporating structural alignment techniques. I am an accredited registered member (MRSS) of the Shiatsu Society UK.  I qualified as a Craniosacral Therapist with the Craniosacral Therapy Education Trust in 2010 and am a member of the Craniosacral Therapy Association UK.

I also practice Qi Gong, which is a self-healing energy-based practice, originating in China. Qi Gong supports a deeper connection to qi (life force) and enhances the quality of therapeutic touch that I bring to my bodywork practice. I have trained with Qi Gong Masters from China over the last fifteen years and I practice the ‘Hua Gong’ tradition with the Chinese Heritage Institute.
